This blade is made specifically for a hand grinder. The #10/12 blade is sku 485ss.
The knives for the #10 SS Hand Grinder are made out of 304 stainless steel. We do recommend washing them only in warm soapy water then hand drying. They may stain if put in a dishwasher or cleaned with harsh detergents. It is also recommended to coat the internal parts with a light coating of silicone spray before storage.

We would recommend an electric grinder for grinding soft bones, as you may not have enough leverage or cranking power to push the bones through the grinder with a manual handle. You would want at minimum a .75 HP electric motor with steel gears to grind soft bones.
