Description
Upgrade your food processing routine with a belt-driven slicer that lets you easily slice boneless meats, cheeses, and breads into perfect deli cuts. The MightyBite® 8 ½" Meat Slicer is perfect for hunters, food processors, chefs, and culinary enthusiasts who desire to make their own foods. Incredibly simple to use, our slicer’s intuitive controls allow you to adjust the thickness of your slices easily. It comes with straight and serrated blades, allowing you to make precise cuts for any fibrous meats and cheeses. This slicer can slice as thin as 0” or as thick as 0.625” and any thickness in-between, making it perfect for ultra-thin slices or thicker cuts of beef, chicken breast, dried salami, jerky slices, or even cheese. A plastic food pusher is included to keep your hands free and clear of the blade. The stainless steel blade turns at 68 RPM and the suggested max run time is 10 minutes. Another great feature of the MightyBite Slicer is how quiet it is, making it perfect for use in any setting. And when it comes time to clean up, the slicer easily disassembles, including the easy-to-remove blade, without the need for tools for cleaning, making it simple to wipe down and store away until your next use. A cut-resistant glove should be worn when removing, cleaning, or handling the slicer blade.

Please note: slicer is not suitable for cutting frozen foods, bones, or non-food items.

Impressive LEM quality
The many positive reviews on this slicer are legit. This machine is perfectly designed for home use and the build quality is excellent. I use it to make thin slices of vegetables, meats and cheeses and it works beautifully.

Mighty little dude
this is perfect for what I bought it for, jerky and maybe roast beef sandies once in a while. I was worried about noise, but its not too bad at all. its definitely not a commercial deli slicer, but for little projects it kicks butt.

40 Questions
Hi- I have numerous LEM processing tools and am very happy with the quality. One thing I would like to add, possibly, is something that would cut 'minute steaks' for philly cheese steaks- like 'steak-ums.' Would this meat slicer fit the bill? How would you go about it- freeze meat 1st? Thanks

Yes, this slicer would certainly fit the bill. We would recommend keeping the meat as cold as you can during the slicing process, but not frozen.

How much are replacement blades?

Both the Fine Blade and Serrated Blade are $14.99. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team and they will be happy to assist you with this purchase. Our team is available Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 6 PM EST - 877-536-7763

How do you sharpen the blades?

You can purchase a slicer blade sharpener here: http://www.lemproducts.com/product/chefs-choice-meat-slicer-blade-sharpener-601/butcher-saws-slicers Or replacement blades are also available by calling our service/parts department at 1-877-536-7763 ext 4.

Will this slicer work for cheese, like a mild cheddar?

The serrated blade can be used for multiply purpose cutting to include fibrous foods and cheese.

How easy is this to clean?

SWITCH POWER TO “OFF” POSITION AND UNPLUG SLICER FROM OUTLET AND SET THICKNESS ADJUSTMENT KNOB TO “0” SETTING. Note: Always align food support with the blade for safety and blade protection during storage and maintenance. This is accomplished by returning the thickness adjustment knob to the “0” position. CAUTION: Blade is sharp! LEM suggests wearing cut resistant gloves when removing and replacing or handling blade. • Unplug and allow slicer to cool completely. • Remove the food pusher by simply lifting it off the feed table handle. • Remove the sliding feed table by pressing the small gray stop on the right and moving the sliding feed table over the stop. This allows for easy clean up of the sliding feed table and the base of the slicer. • To reassemble sliding feed table: With sliding feed table in your right hand, position the hand and finger protectors on the left side and set the back lip of the base of the sliding feed tray under the sliding feed table guide at a slight angle. Align the front lip of the sliding feed table over the gray stop and under the front guide. The table should now slide back and forth with ease. • Remove the blade; loosen the blade locking screws by turning in a clockwise direction. After cleaning, tighten the blade with the blade locking screw by turning it in a counterclockwise direction. • Wash all removable parts in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry. • Wipe slicer body and base with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or materials. • Feet can be cleaned with a gentle grease removing cleanser, such as alcohol or window cleaner. STAINLESS BLADE: Unplug the slicer, loosen the blade locking screw by turning clockwise, as the arrow direction indicates. Then, wearing a glove, carefully take off the blade. After cleaning, tighten the blade with the blade locking screw in the counterclockwise direction.
NOTE: Blade locking screw is a separate part from the blade and is not attached. WARNING: Blade is sharp! LEM highly recommends wearing cut resistant gloves whenever handling the blade. NOTE: Always align food support with blade by returning the thickness adjustment knob to the “0” position, for safety and blade protection during storage and maintenance.

How thick will it cut?

This slicer will open to 3/4 inch. I have not sliced anything that thick, but have sliced semi-frozen meat at 1/2 inch and it worked great!

How much does this unit weigh?

The actual unit weighs 11.5lbs. The shipping weight is 14 lbs.

Where are your products made?

The country of origin is China.

Is it belt or gear driven. If gear is it steel or plastic?  Bought a slicer with plastic gear and it wore out on the 4th use.

This is a belt driven slicer which has plastic drive gears. The belt driven design is much sturdier than a a direct gear drive.
