This 11 lb. Digital Kitchen Scale is a necessity for any kitchen. Accurately weigh special ingredients for recipes or food portions for special diets. The scale has an easy-to-read .8" digital LCD screen that displays weights in .1 oz., .001kg or 1g increments. Weighs in pounds/ounces, grams, kilograms, and milliliters. An included add and weigh tare function zeros out your container weight or allows for weighing multiple items all in one bowl. The stainless steel platform is stain and odor resistant, and the touch control buttons make for an easy-to-clean surface. The scale automatically shuts off after three minutes to save battery life. Wondering if this scale is waterproof. Looking to weigh chickens as we butcher alot of water splashing around area?

The scale can be wiped off for cleaning, but is does contain sensitive electronic parts and is not waterproof.
