It's important to properly tie off certain meats before cooking, and our Cotton Twine can help you get the job done. This versatile twine can be used to tie off sausage casings, truss poultry, and tie roasts so they cook evenly during baking, braising, smoking, or grilling. It's also ideal for tying up tenderloins and securing stuffing and fillings. Our butcher's twine comes in two sizes: a 1/2 pound ball that is 375' in length, or a 2 pound cone that is 1500 ft. in length, giving you plenty to use for all of your needs.

It's String!
It's good for stringy stuff. Haven't actually used it yet. Actually bought the ball of twine to put in my antique cast iron twine holder without having to roll a ball from scratch. Alas, the ball is too big to fit in the holder. So still hand rolling.

Does this twine work in the linker machine or are there better options?
Allen B
The linker machine uses a much thinner string or thread.
Sara W.
Can this be used to warp a loom to weave a rug?
Jacque B.
I'm sorry but we are not experts on rug weaving and if this cotton twine would work. I would recommend checking with the manufacturer of the loom to see if it would be compatible.
Kim R.
I recently ordered some twine from you. I had gotten some previously and it was 12 ply. When I received my recent order, it is 10 ply. Both times I ordered the 2# cone. Please advise. I was working on a craft project, and am now at a loss. Lynne
LynneL
The cotton twine has recently changed to the 10 ply.
Caroline at LEM Products
Do you still sell the dispenser/holder for your twine? You used to and it had a blade to cut it. Pretty handy, but I no longer see it on your site.
erickedler
We do not carry a dispenser/holder with cutter for the twine. I will pass your suggestion on to the proper department.
Liz at LEM Products
Where is the twine manufactured?
Fredw
Our cotton twine is made in the USA.
Liz at LEM Products
what is the thickness of this twine or the thickness number , the last twine i bought was skinny and cut your hands
LARRY
Our Cotton Twine is 50% Cotton and 50% Polyester. It is a 12 ply twine.
Liz at LEM Products
Is this twine 100% cotton? Or does it have some polyester in it also? And do you have 20 ply? 20/6?
Mark
Our Cotton Twine is 50% Cotton and 50% Polyester. We do not offer 20 ply or 20/6.
