Description

It's never been easier to make and enjoy delicious homemade spreads year-round! This convenient, automatic electric cooker makes small batches of jam and jelly in less than 30 minutes using fresh-picked or frozen fruit. Make simple spreads or craft creative combinations using blueberries, peaches, strawberries, and other fruits -- even peppers! -- along with pectin and sugar. You can also make reduced-sugar jams, as well as preserves, applesauce, and tomato sauce.

Forget standing over a hot stove stirring and stirring, wondering if the jam or jelly is ready. This cooker automatically stirs the mixture as it cooks, preventing scorching. A beep alerts you when the cooking process is complete. Allow the spread to cool and enjoy it right away; you can also freeze it or can it for long-term storage.

Enjoy the satisfaction of making delicious and healthful food for family and friends with no additives or preservatives -- when you make it yourself, you control what goes in. Each batch will fill approximately four half-pint (8 oz.) jars.

This machine is a winner!

I bought this machine for my husband. Today was the first day he tried it out.He really liked how thick the jelly came out! He went straight to the store to buy more pectin, so he could make more!

Great machine

I love this jam maker! Have made quite a few and water bathed for later use. Great machine that saves me time stirring at the stove. You do have to watch it though, so it doesn't foam up. It's just the nature of some fruit to do that. One trick is to put a pat of butter or margarine in to prevent the foaming. It can be a bit tricky to clean if it overflows, but not impossible. Just don't try to double up on ingredients. I've had the most trouble doing that.

I love this machine!

It works perfectly for small batches.

So far have experimented with sweet jelly & jam and savory jam. Every batch has been perfectly set (and yummy) when the cycle is finished.

This product is highly recommended.

Works good, just cooks hotter than my Ball freshtech maker

I do like this. My jam always sets. What I don't like is that the machine run really hot and if not careful you will burn your jam. Also you can't use the lid all the way. I have to prop it open otherwise it boils over. I have noticed that after a few times using it. It starts to rust in spots in the pan and the coating starts to chip.

Simple to use

Have enjoyed experimenting with various jams at this point. Using frozen berries at this point and look forward to using my own berries in spring. Easy to use and clean up is easy!

No recipe book included

Worked as expected, but no recipes are included with the unit. You have to look online or purchase a book. Ball included one with their unit.
