This convenient, automatic electric cooker makes small batches of jam and jelly in less than 30 minutes using fresh-picked or frozen fruit. Make simple spreads or craft creative combinations using blueberries, peaches, strawberries, and other fruits -- even peppers! -- along with pectin and sugar. You can also make reduced-sugar jams, as well as preserves, applesauce, and tomato sauce.
Forget standing over a hot stove stirring and stirring, wondering if the jam or jelly is ready. This cooker automatically stirs the mixture as it cooks, preventing scorching. A beep alerts you when the cooking process is complete. Allow the spread to cool and enjoy it right away; you can also freeze it or can it for long-term storage.
Enjoy the satisfaction of making delicious and healthful food for family and friends with no additives or preservatives -- when you make it yourself, you control what goes in. Each batch will fill approximately four half-pint (8 oz.) jars.
