Can you use the paper in the oven for jerky?

The wax paper can be used in temps under 212℉ (100℃).

i was wondering if possible to make a detailed video on putting toghther the three in one big bite jerky maker as well as the making process for three indivigual hamburger jerky strips the directions in package are terrible

I apologize we do not have a video but there is a document showing step by step how to assemble. The document is here: Https://www.lemproducts.com/downloads/how-to-assemble-517.pdf

Getting ready to make the ground flat strips jerky what temp and drying time have people used, I have not made the flat jerky in a dehydrator before?

We recommend a temperature of 155 degrees F. The drying process usually takes about 4-6 hours.

If jerky strips on waxed paper are placed in dehydrator, will the strips adequately dry since ine side is flat against the paper with no air circulation underneath?

If you want to keep the wax paper on the jerky, to ensure even drying, I would suggest drying for 1 hour and then flipping the jerky and removing the paper. This will also help the meat to not stick to your trays.

Would this screw onto a Cabelas # 22 Grinder? I like the idea. I used a jerky gun for the first time and loved it. Refilling the gun tube is a pain. Working off the grinder would be so much easier.

The LEM Ground Meat Patty, Jerky and Snack Stick Maker uses a universal adapter which will fit most grinders with standard head sizes 5, 8, 10/12, 20/22, 32. It should work with most standard size grinders. The concern is the height or the weight of the grinder not being heavy enough or have the clearance to support it. The 3 in 1 unit needs about 5 clearance and it weighs about 8.25lb.

I have a #8 grinder with patty, jerky maker. Do you have an adapter to fit my jerky maker to a #22 Big Bite grinder? Do you sell separate? Thank You

Yes, you can purchase adapters for other size grinders. The adapter you will need is 517B-1. Please contact us at 877-536-7763 Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm eastern to place an order.

Yes I was wondering if you know if the wax paper can be used in a food dehydrator and if so does it change the flavor or the food or it depends on the temperature of the dehydrator?

Yes - you are able to use wax paper in a food dehydrator. I should not change the flavor of the food at all.

can i put this on my stuffer ?

No, the Patty Maker does not come with an adapter to fit a Stuffer. It comes with a standard size adapter which will fit a Grinder with head size - 5, 8, 12, 22, or 32.

When doing beef jerky paper doesn't roll properly, so therefore the meat strips just pile up on the paper. Should the paper's waxed side be down or up on the tray? Which grinder plate should be used for this procedure?

When attaching the paper, thread the paper between the patty machine and the meat chute, making sure the paper unrolls counter-clockwise from back of roll, wax side up onto the chute. Pull the paper down the tray about 3 and start grinding. The extruded meat will push the paper down the tray. Any grinder plate can be used with the patty maker.
