Above and beyond expectations

This sure makes a quick process of coring a pineapple! It is VERY sharp so I store it in a wide mouthed large jar. But it works very smoothly taking the core out and slicing the pineapple in continuous circles. Very nice.
We like the fact too that the pineapple skin is left in one piece so it could be used to hold a fruit salad or something else for a buffet.

Makes the cut!

Had a plastic one from another manufacturer or vendor. It worked pretty good until the plastic gave way on a tough pineapple.

This one is amazing! Cuts through like nothing. It’s mostly metal. Nothing is going to break against pineapple, and it’s stainless and easy to clean. Great price for metal cutting parts. This is a good useful item despite what Alton Brown thinks of single taskers.

Love it!

I've had a pineapple slicer before, but it was plastic. It worked good, but a bit flimsy. This one is awesome! It's so much more sturdy and sharp! So easy to use. I gave it a 5 for durability, but I've only used it once. I would highly recommend this product!.

Better than plastic

I have been using a plastic one for many years and have worn several out. The stainless steel one is sharper and cuts easier. Think sharp knife versus dull knife.

Easier than a knife

My wife bought this for me because we like to eat fresh pineapple whenever possible. I used to use a large kitchen knife. But this tool is so quick and easy. It does leave behind some edible fruit but I'm not complaining. We vsn slice and eat it right off the rind like corn on the cob.
