Whether you're slow-smoking brisket or roasting a holiday turkey, this remote meat thermometer ensures perfect doneness every time—without being tied to your grill or oven. Monitor food and oven temperatures from up to 300 feet away with a wireless remote transmitter. The programmable timer and alarm lets you set the desired temperature and cooking time, and when the food is ready, an alarm will sound and the remote monitor will flash. Use the preset doneness temperatures for rare, medium-rare, medium, well done, or set a custom temperature. The easy-to-read screen shows real time temperature and alerts. The stainless steel probe has a 40" cord with a metal woven jacket that is heat-resistant rated for up to 500°F, which allows the oven or smoker door to stay closed while the probe measures the internal temperature (note: keep probe wire away from open flame). The monitor has a clip for your belt or apron to take it anywhere, and the transmitter has built-in stand. Powered by 4 AAA batteries, included.
