Thank you for your interest in our #22 Big Bite grinder. At the time we don't offer a 240V grinder, however you can use a convertor. A request has been sent to our Customer Experience Manager to add these convertor as an add on in the very near future. I think Amazon offers such convertors for your convenience.

To stuff with a grinder follow these steps. The grinder head needs to be properly assembled with the auger, washer or bushing, stuffing plate and stuffing tube. Insure also that the assembly is clean and cold. The mixed meat should be very cold. The most important thing is to not fill the throat of the head of the grinder with meat. Feed the meat into the grinder a little at a time. Allow the grinder to move that meat before adding more. This should be a continuous feed but not enough to fill the grinder head. Try not to use the meat stomper. Once the meat stomper is used the throat of the head becomes clogged and meat cannot reach the auger. If this happens and you find you can only move the meat by using the meat stomper, take the head assembly apart, clean it and start again. Grinders can stuff but their main purpose is to grind meat. You will notice the meat that is stuffed with a grinder changes consistency due to the churning of the auger. If you will be stuffing a lot of sausage it is highly suggested to use a sausage stuffer for this process. You will find the process to be much easier, more enjoyable, faster and most likely you will have better results and a preferred meat texture.

We have verified the weight of the actual grinder at 55.12 lbs. Other sites or reviews that refer to the weight being over 60 lbs may be referring to the shipping weight.

Stainless steel parts can be washed in the dishwasher. But we suggest hand washing and drying and then spraying with Silicon Spray.
