Description

The powerful BigBite® #32 stainless steel electric meat grinder is built to handle big jobs with its 1.5 HP motor that can grind up to 17 lbs. of meat per minute. Features a storage drawer directly underneath the grinder head, rifled head for an easier second grind and stuffing without the stomper, quieter gears and upgraded performance. Grinder features and accessories: all stainless steel motor housing, all metal gears with roller bearings, heavy duty handle for easy moving, 110 volt, permanently lubricated motor with improved grease formulation to reduce motor noise, and built-in circuit breaker. Includes: stainless steel knife, 3 stainless steel grinding plates (4.5mm, 10mm, and stuffing plate), 3 plastic stuffing tubes (5/8", 1", and 1-3/8" OD), meat stomper, and a bushing removal tool. Our exclusive BigBite® technology's unique extended auger aggressively grabs hefty "bites" of meat from the pan and draws them through the large-diameter throat where the rifled head quickly feeds them through the grinder. Meat churns quickly through the grinder with no clogging or bogging down and no forceful stomping, resulting in a faster and easier field-to-table experience! This professional-grade grinder is perfect for serious hunters and those who need to process large amounts of meat efficiently.

I have a Big Bite #32 and am having trouble doing a second grind on all meats. I try to run through a 1/4 plate then a 1/8 for a finished product. My grinder is located in a walk-in cooler and the meat never leaves the cooler. I have separate plates and knives that are matched with each other and are used as sets. On the second grind the product turns to mush. It appears to me that the cutting knife and plate are not tight enough to cut the membranes in the meat blinding the plate.

Here are a couple things that might help solve your problem: 1) Besides cold meat and matching plate to knife, knife and plate must both be sharp. This can be tested by running your thumb across the plate, if it is sharp you will feel a slight tug on your skin. 2) The knife and plate must have pressure to get a good grind. Ensure your washer, or bushing, is installed correctly. A correct head assembly will have the plate stick out past the end of the head 1/8 to 3/16. 3) Another factor is the tightness of the retaining ring. You want it snug but not so tight that you cause too much wear on the plate. 4) Check the installation of the knife- the blades of the knife must be facing out towards the holes on the plate. 5) It is very important when grinding - especially the second grind- to keep the grinder head clear. We always suggest trickling the meat into the head so not to have to use the meat stomper. Once the head gets clogged up and the stomper is used, there is no going back unless you take it all apart and clean it. 6) You may also want to try using a larger plate for the first grind and then go straight to the smallest plate. Not sure this will help, but the larger the grind is the more easily it is passed down the auger (more surface area to grab).

i would like to grind beef and pork bones, do you have any grinder for this kind of bones?

No, we do not recommend grinding hard bones like pork or beef bones with any of the LEM grinders. But the .75HP, 1 HP and 1.5HP grinder would grind soft bones, such as chicken bones

Should these be able to grind frozen beef fat? My #32 Big Bite grinder locked up on semi-frozen fat; first time used. It seems off that such a powerful grinder will lock-up on fat when lesser grinders don't.

Yes, we have ground straight beef fat without problem. Slightly frozen is best. Please contact our service team to discuss possible troubleshooting at 877.336.5895.

where is this grinder made?

The grinder is designed here in the United States by our engineering team, it is manufactured in China.

Will this do rabbit bones?

Does this reverse?

No, there is not need for a reverse.

What is the diameter of throat where the meat is fed in?

The IMPROVED # 32 throat diameter is approximated 3. This is 3/4 wider than the original Big Bite # 32.

Is there a stuffing tube that can be attached to the #32 grinder?

Our Grinders come with three stuffing tubes. The sizes are 5/8", 1", 1-3/8" OD. If you'd like purchase the tubes separately, you can purchase them here, https://www.lemproducts.com/product/32-stainless-steel-grinder-stuffing-tubes/sausage-stuffing-tubes.
