Description

Enjoy professional-quality dried foods at home with the BigBite® 10-Tray Stainless Steel Dehydrator. This food drying machine makes beef jerky, tasty snacks, and more. Use the dryer with meat, fruit, and veggies to create favorite recipes or discover new ones. This dehydrator features 10 sq. ft. of drying space, measures 13.38” L x 15.98” W x 14” H, and includes 10 stainless steel trays (11.97” x 11.97”). An 800-watt heating element, rear-mounted fan, and horizontal airflow vents help ensure even drying. The temperature settings range from 95 to 176 degrees F for dehydrating a variety of foods. Program the machine for what you need with an easy-to-use digital control panel that adjusts in 2-degree increments, and set the timer for 30 minutes to 24 hours. The unit’s housing is made from long-lasting stainless steel, and the swinging door is made from transparent glass. This door opens wide for easy tray access and has a magnetic closure for quick opening/closing. Non-slip feet protect kitchen countertops and the 48-inch cord provides extra convenience. Cleaning is simple with the removable and dishwasher-safe drying trays and drip tray.

Chris Stafford was born and raised in Larkspur, California, and developed a deep love of barbecue in his early 20s after spending a few years living in Arkansas. After returning to California to finish up school and pursue a career in Technology, he began selling Central Texas inspired barbecue on a platform called Shef, before ultimately forming Lone Mountain Barbecue in Marin County, California.

It has worked great! Its the much needed upgrade from the plastic, circular dehydrator that I had been using.

Love my big bite SS dehydrator
Made banana chips today.
Very easy to use. It looks nice on the counter and isn’t too loud when in use. Love it!

Great quality!
I purchased this as a replacement for my 20 year old Le'Equip. The plastic was severely degrading for a few years now. The quality of the LEM is far superior and I look forward to many years of dehydrating!

Works well
This dehydrator is just big enough for what my wife needed. The larger capacity version might have been nice, but this works well for her.
She has primarily just used this to dehydrate fruit so far.
We’ve only had this for a month, so the durability rating is based on our forecast based on the materials and the feel for the machine.

How does this unit compare to other dehydrators on the market?

This dehydrator has temperature range of 95° F to 176° F. It is ideal for drying all foods, including jerky, and the 10 stainless steel trays give you a generous 10 sq. ft. of drying space.
It features an 800-watt heating element; a rear-mounted fan; and rear venting for horizontal airflow, ensuring even drying. The 10 stainless steel trays have a 3/8" grid and they are square so you can rotate them 90° for even drying.
The digital control panel is conveniently located at the front and lets you adjust the temperature in 2° increments. It includes a timer that can be set from 30 minutes to 24 hours. The non-slip feet won't mar countertops, and the removable drip tray makes for easy clean up.
The housing is made from long-lasting stainless steel. The swinging door has a glass window that lets you observe the drying process; it opens wide so you can easily access the trays and has a secure magnetic closure.
