Rugged and easy to clean.
Worked great with the manual crank. Spices mixed evenly and the right texture for stuffing was achieved with little effort.

Superior product
First off, a single piece of stamped stainless steel means easier clean up. Second, the finish on the inside wipes clean and rinses off better than cheap models. Both are game changers when doing cured meat. Easy disassembly. Tub ends are sealed with plastic to avoid meat getting trapped. 50 lbs is a stretch however.

Great Mixer
I used my mixer last week to mix up 3 30 pound batches of sausage and loved it.
I used to mix by hand and that got to be a task sometimes but not anymore.

Tilt meat mixer.
Pairs nicely with my 32 grinder. Doesn’t take long to get a really nice mix and I love the ease of emptying the meat into a meat lug with just a tilting of the mixer. The cleanup is easy as well as the auger comes out of the tub easily so both can be cleaned independently. This mixer saves a lot of time for my meat team that does an average of 600 pounds annually.

Will this fit other brands of meat grinders?? Say a Cabe Carnivore in 3/4 hp #12 size??

will this mixer work with cabelas carnivore # 32 grinder?

What is the minimum pounds of meat for optimal mixing results for the 25 lb mixer? And the 50 lb mixer?

The minimum recommended pounds to get a great mix are below. As a general rule of thumb (as lbs vs volume can vary slightly) is that the meat needs to cover the paddles.

25lb mixers- 23lbs
50lb mixers- 34lbs

I mostly do 25 lb batches of meat block and with 2.5 pounds of cheese for total of 27.5 pounds. I'm having difficulty deciding which model 25lb or 50 lb, suggestions?

The minimum capacity for a efficient mix in the 50# tilt mixer is around 34lbs of meat. If you ever consider upping the amount you typically make it is usually better to go with the larger capacity so you have room to grow. Otherwise you would need to do multiple batches in the 25# tilt mixer.

I typically mix in my seasoning before I grind.  Can I do that with this mixer or should the meat be ground first?

For best results the meat should be ground first.

Is this mixer stainless steel?

Yes the mixer has a rust resistant, stainless steel hopper, 4 stainless steel mixing paddles metal bearings and metal gears.

Hello. will this grinder work  well and efficiently if you only crank it by hand? no grinder....

This mixer will work without a grinder by using the handle.

What is the minimum amount of meat you have to put into the 25 lb mixer for it to mix well and have protein extraction?

We suggest doing at least half the volume of the unit for an optimal mix (12.5 lbs for a 25lb sized mixer or 25lbs for a 50lb sized mixer).

I have the cabelas 1 hp grinder, will this mixer match up to the cabelas grinder?

We do not have the specifications for our competitors equipment, so attachments may not be interchangeable. We do offer a 30 day money back guarantee (excluding shipping) on all of our products.

I consistently do 25# batches.  Will the 25# mixer mix it well or being at full volume am I better going to the 50# mixer?

The 25 lb mixer will be able to handle that well. We recommend filling to at least half the listed capacity to ensure a good mix. If you ever decide to increase your batch size it might be better to go with the larger unit so you have room to expand.

How many pounds of meat can the 50 # unit do at a time?

This will mix 50 lbs at a time.
