Description
Designed for safely preserving low-acid foods like vegetables, meats, poultry, and seafood, these USDA-recommended pressure canners also double as boiling-water canners for fruits, jams, jellies, pickles, and salsa. Constructed from heavy-gauge, warp-resistant aluminum, these canners provide fast, even heating and work on both standard and smooth-top ranges. The extra-large capacity accommodates multiple jars at once. Ergonomic stay-cool handles ensure safe handling, while the strong-lock lid with pressure regulator and overpressure plug keeps the canning process secure. The easy-to-read dial gauge accurately registers processing pressures, and the included canning rack keeps jars elevated so liquid can circulate beneath for even heating. Perfect for home canners looking for a reliable, heavy-duty pressure canner to preserve the harvest year-round.

First time canning, worked great!
Canned 24 pints of pizza sauce. This will be better than in the freezer and will take up less space, not to mention taste better!

Great Caner - Great Service
Presto makes the best caners. This smaller size will so 8 pints, so it just right for our portions. The smaller size also gets up to pressure quicker than the larger one. Roots & Harvest were great to work with. The only thing I would suggest is putting the brand of the caner on the advertisement. I just assumed it was a Presto, so went ahead and ordered.
