I read Build a smoke house Book. I incorporated some of the ideas in this book and designed and built my version of my back deck smoker.
As you can see, I made a smoke pot out of an old cooking pan drilled holes for air flow and capped it with old cake tins top and bottom . I am using charcoal and woodchips for the smoke and have added sterno pots for additional heat. Adjustable vents both sides at
top and bottom as well as the closable top with a floor vent on top. My heat is in the 200 - 225 range. So far it works pretty well.
Any suggestions to improve my smoker would be appreciated.
I did not see the name of the author but give him or her my thanks for the book.
Thanks
Jerry Dohse
